The AntiFlame!!

Hello, everyone. I'm Hobbes, that's =Hobbes918. I'm 18, from New York State, and I think flaming's unnecessary and callous. As you can tell I'm kind of a bleeding heart. I guess that's not all that bad is it?

Anyway, I made this account to counterattack the flame accounts that are here on DA. Its a waste of time to try to get flamers banned. And hating them or giving them more attention than they deserve is a waste of time as well. They are here to stay. And for some reasons its better that way. Sometimes flaming can motivate people to work at their art and make it better.

Recently, I "spoke" with the person behind !Deviantsthatsuck and !FavoriteListofFail, because I felt it was unfair to say negative things about a person without doing a little research. He says that flaming people is just fun for him. Plain and simple. He doesn't care about you, your art, your feelings. So don't take it personal. If he flames you its not because you suck, its because he's looking for someone to flame so he can have "fun".

So if flamers are having fun, let's have more fun, shall we?



To Flamers,

I gotta say I can kind of sort of understand what some of you do. But I can't say I support it. And actually its entertaining on some levels because the galleries of most flamers either are barren or just plain suck. I literally laughed at a few.

So anyway, you are just as welcome to leave a comment on either this account or my real account. If your feeling real adventurous you can even note me. Unlike most of you I'm not a nameless, faceless nobody just out for laughs at someone else's expense.
